Nathan and Adrienne Stevenson have been married for 17 years and have two sons, Jaquan, 27, and Steven, 24. Nathan attended Mississippi College in Clinton, MS, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis on Pre-law and a Minor in Psychology.
At the age of 24, in March 1994, Nathan was called to the ministry, a calling he has embraced with unwavering commitment. His service in the ministry has been marked by a diverse range of outreach and evangelistic efforts, from leading weekly Elderly Convalescent Home Bible Study to serving as a Chaplain at the Raymond Detention Center, Raymond, MS, and Chaplain of Piney Woods School of Life, Piney Woods, MS. Nathan’s dedication to his pastoral duties is evident in his 9 years of experience as a lead pastor of two churches.
In May 2023, Nathan marked a significant milestone in his educational journey by graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, MS, with a Master of Divinity. He has also obtained his licensure from the Mississippi Valley Presbytery. Currently, Nathan is in the process of pursuing his ordination for a call extended by the Commission of MVP. Once ordained, he will embark on a new chapter as the church planter for the Old Canton Corridor in Jackson, MS.
His desire for this church is that it would be a thriving reformed, multiethnic, and means of grace church extending hope and help to all classes and cultures in need of God’s inspired Word thereby fulfilling God’s great commission to advance the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. To God be dominion and glory forever! Amen!
